The German team struggled in the first half of the season, firing coach Niko Kovac. Fortunately for them, his replacement, Hans-Dieter Flick was outstanding, winning the UEFA Champions League undefeated and the Bundesliga with a final record of 20 wins and 1 tie. Bayern also triumphed in the German Cup, completing the «Treble».
The Reds could not repeat as European Champions (2019), nonetheless, they dominated the Premier League, finishing 18 points above second place Manchester City. The team had an incredible offense and solid defense. Jürgen Klopp established himself as one of the best coaches in the world, making Liverpool a contender for every tournament they participate.
Madrid achieved their Nº34 League title, handling the pressure in the crucial part of the season. In his first full year after returning to Real Madrid, Zinedine Zidane did not fail, changing the team’s image, turning them into European contenders yet again.

Everyone praised Atalanta’s collective game, effectiveness and goals. The team did not won any title, but their performance was exceptional. Coach Gian Piero Gasperini was a huge part of this.
Leipzig qualified to the Champions League semifinal for the first time in their history, battling also the Bundesliga title (especially mid-season). Like Atalanta, coach Julian Nagelsmann, had a lot to do with this. It was a shame Timo Werner could not finish the season with the squad since he was a crucial part of their offense.
Milan had a bad 2019, losing points that left them out of European competitions. Everything changed mid-season, greatly improving. At the end, they were one of the best Italian teams, reaching the UEFA Europea League.
The Blues stayed most of the season in the top four, in Frank Lampard’s first year as a Chelsea coach. The team qualified to the Champions League, obligated to update their floppy defense.
Granada, promoted in 2019, surprised everyone by reaching the Europa League qualifiers. The Spaniards will play in a European competition for the first time in their history.
